Architect by training, designer by adaptation, painter by vocation, and writer out of a desire to win friends, Oscar Tusquets defines himself as a prototypical all-around artist of the type gradually being driven to extinction by the specialization that prevails in the modern world. He has developed town planning, architecture, interior design and architectural design projects in Spain, France, Holland, Germany and Japan.
Notable projects by Tusquets include the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Las Palmas, a residential complex in the Japanese city of Fukuoka, Cavas Chandon in Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues, and the Daoiz-Velarde Sports Complex in Madrid.
