The seat used to outfit the Plenary Hall needed to be a roomy model that would provide a high level of comfort. Moreover, without dismantling seats, it had to be possible for the hall to offer a 2800-place plenary configuration and a parliamentary configuration with 1400 seats and their respective tables. Seats would also need to incorporate microphones, internet connection, a simultaneous translation system, and power points.
