In addition to reflecting acoustic requirements, the design of The Sage Gateshead makes the most of the building’s natural surroundings. The centre boasts three auditoriums, each conceived as an independent space.
-Main auditorium: capacity 1700 spectators
-Second auditorium: capacity 400 spectators
-Third auditorium: used by Northern Sinfonia and as the centre of the music school
