Classicism, Polynesian architecture and kinetic art to host the work of a unique artist
Description Technical data Downloads
Len Lye was one of the most renown New Zealander artists from the 20th century. The Len Lye Center, located at Govett-Brewster Art Gallery in New Plymouth, opened in 2015, is the place to experience film and kinetic art. Figueras was honored to equip its screening room with the Flex model upholstered in red leather, an allegory of the interior decoration of the old cinemas. The seat was slightly modified to be a little wider and a first row of removable seats was provided, allowing the stage to be extended if necessary.
