National stadium of Burkina Faso

National stadium of Burkina Faso

The national stadium of Burkina Faso, Stade 4 Août, located in Ouagadougou, boasts a capacity of approximately 35,000 seats. It serves as the home to both the national football team and Étoile Filante de Ouagadougou and was inaugurated in 1984, named after Burkina Faso's first revolution, which took place on August 4, 1983. The stadium was renovated in 1996 to host the African Cup in 1998, and in 2023, it will conclude its second renovation.

Figueras Seating was selected to fully equip the stadium, from the main bowl seating to player benches, VIP areas, press areas, and other interior spaces. Currently, around 80% of the installation has been completed, and the renovated facilities are on track for the inauguration.

The project has been a success can be attributed to Figueras Seating's ability to provide comprehensive global solutions for all areas of the stadium. This kind of project showcases the company's capacity to adapt to the most demanding challenges and collaborate with the world's leading teams of architects, engineers, and builders. We are convinced that Stade 4 Août will continue to be a benchmark for sports and a national pride in Burkina Faso.
