Description

The Room XX of the United Nations, also known as the room of Human Rights and the Alliance of Civilisations, has been equipped with Figueras armchairs of the Bonamusa model. The project managers chose this model of chair in a natural leather finish in a pastel colour to enhance the spectacular dome of the room designed by Miquel Barceló.

The room has three configurations specially developed to be able to adapt to the type of meetings held in the room. Practically half of the chairs in the room are movable and stackable, while the rest are fixed to the floor with a central foot. For the installation of the movable chairs, a system of fixing to the floor was devised to facilitate the anchoring and unanchoring of the chair, the Quick Release fixing system, making it possible to organise the room according to the needs of each moment.
