The nsh architekten architect’s studio has designed the new Turkish Embassy in Berlin. The building represents a metaphor of the country and its entry into Europe. The building is full of symbols. Its façade is made of Turkish limestone, the same material used to clad the mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of the modern Turkish state. The building is divided into three clearly-defined areas: the Palace, the City and the Bosphorus. The welcoming auditorium of the embassy is fitted with 108 Flex 6035 seats in different shades of green leather. This model provides great comfort in tiers with little depth, as well as a modern, uniform, attractive finish.
